Seven Things

The orange one is Farenheit...didn't think I'd like it, but I loved it! *my photo, btw

My brother, going to visit Alice down a rabbit hole :)
One day I will figure out how to work my Instagram....maybe.....

Though I never actually watched the episode, this is a pretty cute collage, and I LOVE Quinn's hair haha

Classic Prom

I'm really looking forward to prom season this year! My senior prom...eh, haven't really gotten a dress or anything for that yet. But my boyfriend's prom is right on the beach, and I'm going with a classic style of dress and accessories etc. for this one. Here are some "classical" inspiration pics :)
The icon for this style of fashion is Audrey Hepburn <3
Small, sparkling jewels and delicate hoops are what defines this refined style in the way of jewelry
(I would love a tennis bracelet like this one for prom..hahaha)
Obviously, I would recommend knock-offs; glass is more functional and fun than actual jewels. But this would be the perfect ring for my dress, with the dark blue that would match the fabric and the clear jewel accents that would pick up the little fob thingy in front of the dress
Now, onto some more classical inspiration!

If you look at stars today, you can see this kind of lacy-style dress making a huge comeback

With...sparkles.  XD

And we can't possibly neglect the fashion giant, Marilyn Monroe herself! Actually, now that I'm looking at this picture, this is exactly the same kind of dress I have for prom, but its dark blue....hmm...this will be a warning for me to stay away from subway grates!
Marilyn's unique style of makeup stayed in vogue in Hollywood for years to come.....

Singing sensation Adele has only made a few modifications to this style, mainly by using more extreme eyelashes
And of course there's our beautiful British princess, Catherine :)
(btw, did you know that this week is National Princess Week? neither did I, till a few minutes ago...)
She has brought the classic style back for everyone (including me, at prom :P ) to enjoy!
Happy Prom Season Everyone :)

Hey there, long time no see

Smile! I know you're thrilled to see me back after all this time! Lol... I've missed blogging, but I'm looking forward to being a lot more regular with my posts. Second semester of your senior year is a lot of work, just passing it on :P But anyway,
HEY :)

Seven Things {in Black and White}

It's not always about whats in Black and White.
In fact, I've found through experience that its usually
what's in the grey that really truly counts.

Absolutely NEED to see this movie soon!
Aww I remember when my Border Collie was this cute... XD

The Hunger Games

I take a small amount of pride from the fact that I was one of the original Hunger Games fans :) My librarian got the book when it first came out, and recommended it to me, and ever since then my literary heart has belonged to the world of Panem. I am so excited to see the movie when it comes out this Friday, and in honor of that, I'm sharing with you some of my favorite pictures that have recently come out, along with some of my favorite quotes from the trilogy!
"I'm more than just a piece of their Games"
“The question is, what are you going to do?"
It turns out the question that's been eating away at me has only ever had one possible answer. But it took Peeta's ploy for me to recognize it.
What am I going to do?
I take a deep breath. My arms rise slightly - as if recalling the black-and-white wings Cinna gave me - then come to rest at my sides.
"I'm going to be the Mockingjay.”
“Happy Hunger Games! And may the odds be ever in your favor.”
“They'll either want to kill you, kiss you, or be you.”
“It's weird, how much he's noticed me... And apparently, I have not been as oblivious to him as I imagined, either.”

Colorful Crocuses

Today, it was almost 75* F. I had heard rumors, but didn't believe it would actually happen. So you can imagine my surprise when I walk into school with my jeans, boots, and a sweatshirt, to see everyone walking around in skirts and sandals! The beautiful weather is motivating though, and I've been inspired to start a more rigorous workout routine then my occasional run through the woods. Unfortunately, I still need some tangible inspiration for my outfit for tomorrow, because I am determined to embrace this weather while I can! Here are some ideas:

My New Motto:

Always live life to the fullest. Love hard, and laugh often. Sure, the risk is greater and the fall is harder, but if you don't try it you'll never know what you've missed.

{and yes, came up with that all by myself} {insert proud smile here lol} :D

Annie's Song: in photo-lyrics

You fill up my senses,
Like a night in a forest
Like the mountains in spring time
Like a walk in the rain
Like a storm in the desert
Like a sleepy blue ocean
You fill up my senses, come fill me again

Come let me love you,
Let me give my life to you
Let me drown in your laughter,
Let me die in your arms
Let me lay down beside you,
Let me always be with you
Come let me love you, come love me again
Let me give my life to you
Come let me love you
Come love me again

Cute Spring Outfit Ideas - By Bridget

Hi everyone!!! Erin let me update her blog again, so.... here I am!!

I'm technically on Winter Break right now, but the weather has been anything but wintery. Yesterday, it was almost 60 degrees!!! I was tempted to break out my sandals. But, like always, the New England weather is unpredictable, and today, I woke up to an inch of snow!! Sigh.

All of the warm weather, and then cold weather, has put me in the mood for spring. So here are some cute spring ideas that all focus around the color yellow!!
This one is nice because it involves a sweatshirt... a necessity for early spring in New England. ;-)  I also love how the earrings tie the top and sweatshirt together, all while giving the outfit a (somewhat) bo-ho flair.

This outfit puts more of an emphasis on yellow, what with the sweater, sandals and bag. It is a very simple look, with a casual but polished feel. This outfit could also be duplicated with any other color combo you want, like blue and white and so on.

This last outfit is really m ore of a late spring look, but I loved how it is all vintage-y and classic, with the structured bag, preppy flats (or are they heels?? I can't tell...) and the sparkly earrings.

I think that the color yellow really symbolizes spring and the happy feelings everyone has during the season. What do you think???

P.S - All of these sets were from Google

Bye!! ~Bridget
